The winner of the 750th Ashburton Town Lottery has called for more people to get behind the scheme which has donated almost £54,000 to local good causes.
Linda Phillips, above, a married mum who works as an accounts assistant at the Glendinning quarry, last week scooped the £100 top prize using a number she took on from her late mother-in-law, Margaret Phillips.
'She passed away four years ago and I don't think she ever won so it's nice now to think she's looking down on me ,' said Mrs Phillips.
