OVER 40 brave, or foolhardy, teams braced the frigid waters of the River Dart on Sunday (Oct 9) for the annual River Dart Struggle.

The Totnes Rotary Club organised event saw teams of between two and ten entrants creating a raft and then making their way by floating, pushing, pulling and scrambling a 14km length of the River Dart from the launch point at Buckfastleigh to the finish at Vire Island, Totmes.
