THOUSANDS of music fans celebrated the first night of this year’s TK Maxx presents Live At Powderham – headlined by GRAMMY Award-winner Teddy Swims.

The vocal powerhouse took to the stage last night as Devon’s biggest live music event got under way.

Teddy Swims was joined by his band Freak Freely to play a blistering 90-minute set under sunny skies getting started with The Door, Hammer To The Heart and Are You Even Real.

The show ended with a huge singalong moment to his multi-platinum hit Lose Control.

Opening the show in the main arena were New Zealand-Australian singer and multi-instrumentalist Jordan Rakei and vocalist and songwriter Lauren Spencer Smith.

Getting the day underway on the Castle Green Stage were The Sons Of Guns, with The Luke Combs Experience bringing the night to an end as festival goers headed home.

Live At Powderham continues tonight with Alanis Morissette’s headline show, followed by a double headline weekend from Lewis Capaldi.
