THE popular town centre business maps for Teignmouth and Dawlish have been posted in large format in centrally-situated notice boards throughout the two resorts.

They include a guide to all businesses and shops in the town centres, as well as tourist information and locations of car parks and toilets, along with the locations of defibrillators and Shopmobility centres.

The Teignmouth versions have a separate map for Shaldon, and the Dawlish map includes Dawlish Warren. They are also available to download from the Love Teignmouth and Love Dawlish websites.

The maps are collated and produced by Tracy Scranage, the town centre development manager for Teignmouth and Dawlish, in conjunction with designers Inspirations in Northumberland Place, Teignmouth.

‘More than 50,000 maps are produced and distributed throughout the area, and have proved a very popular way to advertise what we have to offer in our vibrant town centres,’ she said.

’The larger versions in the central notice boards are also a very effective way of promoting the diverse and interesting shops and businesses in the towns. The maps are fully funded by advertising and I would like to thank all the local advertisers for their support.
