Tackling gridlocked traffic on Newton Road, creating jobs and providing affordable homes are among the main priorities for people in Kingsteignton, a major survey has revealed.
The police were ranked as the worst public service in the town with too few officers seen on the beat. Street cleaning, Kingsteignton Town Council and refuse collection followed close behind in the list of complaints.
Praised were the ambulance and fire services as well as street lighting and the medical centre.
The findings are in the final version of the town's community plan which has been published three years after 5,000 questionnaires were distributed to households.
