TRAINEE gardeners have been hard at work sprucing up flower beds around the Manor House in Dawlish.
Dawlish Gardens Trust staff and trainees got their hands dirty planting beds in and around the town council’s headquarters.
The trust provides hands-on learning opportunities for individuals with special needs.

A spokesman for Dawlish Town Council said: ‘A very big thank you to the amazing people from Dawlish Gardens Trust for the beautiful work done around the Manor House.’
Cllr Linda Petherick agreed saying it looked ‘amazing’.
And Cllr Scott Williams said: ‘Amazing work - it is looking lovely.’
A spokesman for Dawlish Gardens Trust said: ‘We’re truly grateful to Dawlish Town Council for their kind words.
‘It’s always humbling and uplifting to see our work in the community being recognised and appreciated.’
The charity provides opportunities for adults to learn skills in horticulture, catering, animal care as well as
social skills and provides work experience for help into employment.
