THE name Teignmouth will soon be seen up and down the country's motorways.
Haulier Tony Johnson is so proud of his home town, he has had it painted on his gleaming black refurbished Scania tractor unit.
He travels about 150,000 miles a year, six days a week, with a variety of cargoes, and has a regular haul to Scotland.
He said: 'I came to live in Teignmouth over 30 years ago, and absolutely love it.
'The refurbishment cost thousands of pounds and I took the opportunity to promote the resort at the same time.
'A lot more people are now going to hear about the town. because the truck is so smart, it will attract a lot of attention from other motorway users.' Tony added: 'I might even enter the unit in the carnival.'
