The planting, in the section above the duck pen, was attended by his widow June, son Philip and grandson Ben.
They were supported by close friends from Gloucester, Maurice, and Geoff and Helen Wills, of Dawlish.
It was felt fitting that the chamber had some memorial for Jim. He was a loyal member, and it was at a meeting at June that he suddenly collapsed. Every effort to revive him was made by the emergtency services but in vain.
