TWO men were hurt in a fight which broke out in Teignmouth.The men, aged 23 and 28, were assaulted by a group of eight men who punched and kicked them. Both sustained cuts and bruises to their eyes.

Police were alerted just after 10pm to the disturbance outside the sorting office in Carlton Place. Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident.

An eyewitness claimed a knife was brandished about. No one has yet been arrested in connection with the incident, which happened on Saturday night.
