Cheerless vandals struck in a residential Newton Abbot street in the early hours of Christmas day and caused hundreds of pounds damage to parked cars.
Residents of Forde Park were woken by shouting and disturbance in the street at 3.30am.
They looked out to see four people smashing wing mirrors and then stand around laughing at their handiwork.
Earlier they had walked along Queen Street interfering with car windscreen wipers.
