POLICE have appealed for help tracing vandals who destroyed two £1,000 memorial benches at Oakford Lawn, Kingsteignton.

Last week officers found the seat of the first ripped off and the metal sides pushed over.

No one was seen in the area and police are keen to hear from anyone who was there on the evening of Wednesday, April 24, and who might have spotted anything suspicious.

The second attack was discovered at 9pm on Tuesday by PCSO Vanessa Pike.
