A VEHICLE fire thought to have been started deliberately was put out in Bovey Tracey.

The town’s fire crew mobilised just after 9pm on October 22 following a call of a vehicle on fire.

Upon arrival crews confirmed that the vehicle was well alight.

Throughout the incident crews used: two breathing apparatus; one hose reel jet; small tools; a thermal image camera; strops and a winch.

80 percent of the internal components of the vehicle was damaged by fire.

The cause is believed to be deliberate, Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service has said.
