RESIDENTS in Kingskerswell were among the many Teignbridge communities that came together at the weekend to mark Remembrance Sunday.
Parishioners gathered just after 10am for a service at St Mary’s Church, before parading toward the village’s war memorial for a two minute silence at 11am.
Remembrance Day is a memorial day observed in Commonwealth member states since the end of the First World War to honour armed forces members who have died in the line of duty.
It is held on the second Sunday of November.
Towns and villages across Teignbridge held services to mark Remembrance Sunday, including Newton Abbot, Kingsteignton, Teignmouth, Chudleigh and many more besides
