SPRING has arrived at Heathercombe where the extensive and varied gardens will be open on Sunday, March 26 from 12.30pm to 5.30 pm in aid of the National Garden Scheme charities.

Visitors will be able to enjoy Heathercombe’s daffodils and natural setting with streams, ponds and lake.

Teas and coffees will be available, but visitors are welcome to sit and enjoy a picnic in the attractive shelters and on the many benches.

With more than town miles of sandy paths, dogs are welcome too.

From Bovey Tracey take the B3387 toward Haytor, 1.7 miles past Haytor Rocks, before Widecombe Hill, turn right to Hound Tor and Manaton.

Roughly 1.4 miles past Hound Tor turn left at Heatree Cross and you have arrived at Heathercombe.
