A CHARITY in Newton Abbot is looking for volunteer drivers to support its new minibuses.

Thanks to funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, Newton Abbot Community Transport recently purchased two new minibuses.

The new buses will be used across six areas including Teign Valley, Chudleigh, Bovey, Ashburton, Haytor and Ambrook, providing additional transport links for many residents.

And now the charity is looking for volunteer drivers and admin support to help run these new routes.

Formed in 1991, the charity has been helping communities stay connected for decades, whether it be through its door-to-door ‘Ring and Ride’ service or its provision of Shopmobility scooters from its base at Halcyon Road car park.
