THE refurbishment of a Teignbridge play area is well underway.

Ashburton Road Play Area, also known as Figure of 8 Park, was in dire need of a face lift for some time.

And so it was that Teignbridge District Council’s executive committee approved S106 funding, which was to the tune of £150,000, to refurbish the play area, which serves a wide area including Highweek, Broadlands, Bradley Valley and Hele Park.
