Despite the inclement weather hundreds flocked to Powderham Castle on Saturday to watch an historic occasion in an equally historic venue.

The home of the Earls of Devon science 1390 celebrated the coronation of King Charles III with a special weekend of events in aid of the British Red Cross including a live screening of the event.
