EXPECT widespread frost overnight, warns the Met Office.

In its weather forecast for the weekend the Met Office says there will be sunny periods giving way to increasing cloud tomorrow.

This Evening and Tonight:

The evening will start rather cloudy with some patchy rain. However, clearer conditions will arrive from the north, leaving starry skies for the overnight period, with a gentle north-easterly breeze.

A fairly widespread slight frost will form by the morning. Minimum temperature 0 °C.

Saturday:

Saturday will start dry and sunny, though frosty.Cloud will tend to increase through the morning, leaving a rather cloudy afternoon, although it should remain generally dry. Feeling chilly. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Sunday, Monday and Tuesday will be mostly dry, but often fairly cloudy and cool, with north-easterly winds. Occasional sunny spells are expected, and some frost and fog is likely overnight.
