A WOMAN in her 80s needed hospital treatment after her car hit a wall.

The casualty suffered cuts to her arms in the accident which happened in Dornafield Road, Ipplepen, just after 3pm.

The elderly driver was out of the wreckage when the emergency services arrived.

Paramedics treated her at the scene before taking her to hospital by ambulance.

Firefighters made the scene and vehicle safe.
