A CRASH victim was airlifted to hospital after a road accident at the bottom of Telegraph Hill this morning (fri).

The woman suffered a broken leg and suspected fractured arm in the single-vehicle accident on the Exeter-bound carriageway at Kennford just after 9am.

The Devon Air Ambulance landed on the closed A38 to take the woman to Plymouth’s Derriford Hospital.
