AN ELDERLY lady has sustained serious head injuries following a collision in a railway station car park.
The car park at Newton Abbot Railway Station was cordoned off for several hours from around 5pm yesterday, Tuesday, April 9, after the incident, which involved a Range Rover.
The woman, who is in her seventies, was taken to Torbay Hospital.
Elsewhere, another incident unfolded in the car park - a man had fallen over, though it is understood he did not need medical treatment.
