THis newspaper has been given unique access to the route of the £110 million Kingskerswell bypass.

Due to open in December 2015, construction of what is officially the South Devon Link Road is now well under way with earth moving equipment, engineers and labourers dotted liberally along the 31/2 mile route.

A major focus of attention for the rest of this year will be the completion of a culvert through which the Aller Brook has to be diverted under the dual carriageway.
