NEWTON Abbot Young Farmers Club is set to host a community Fun Field Day featuring a vintage tractor show, dog show and car boot sale later this month.
The event will take place on Sunday, June 28, at Wifford Farm, Bovey Tracey, TQ13 9JH, with exhibitors arriving from 9am and the public welcome from 10am.
Organisers say the day will raise funds for the Devon Air Ambulance and Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team Ashburton, while offering entertainment for all ages.
The vintage tractor show will include classes for Best Restored Tractor, Best Original Tractor and the Judge’s Favourite.
Tractor entries cost £10, which includes one driver, and participants can enter on the day.
A family-friendly dog show will also be held, featuring classes such as Prettiest Bitch, Most Handsome Dog, Waggiest Tail, Best Trick, Dog Most Like Its Owner, Best Fancy Dress and the Dog the Judge Would Most Like to Take Home.
In addition to the competitions, visitors can browse the car boot sale and enjoy a day out in the countryside.
General admission is £5, while children under ten-years-old can attend free of charge.
