Staff and supporters at Kingsteignton Library have been busy preparing a surprise or two for the forthcoming festive season.

Hundreds of books have been wrapped in Christmas paper, ready for lenders who are prepared to enjoy a bit of mystery reading during the yuletide break by taking part in a lucky dip.

For less adventurous readers the library's shelves will also remain stocked with plenty of titles whose identity won't have to be guessed at.

Norman Lewis, Veronica Chambers, Dorothea Fleckney and Cllr Joan Lambert are happy to do some wrapping up.
