Rendells second sale of the year takes place on February 19 and 20 at Stonepark in Ashburton and will include a specialist section of postcards, stamps and ephemera.
There is something for everyone from tools to tables, stamps to scales, books to bedsteads, and chisels to chairs.
One of the standout lots is a late 19th Century Louis Vuitton wood and iron bound canvas travelling trunk.
A few other lots to mention are a 19th Century Chinese hardwood framed folding dressing screen inset with forty porcelain tiles, a Victorian stereoscope in a fitted walnut cabinet and a large early 20th Century F.M. Ayres rocking horse
In addition there are six stock albums containing a quantity of 20th Century and later world stamps, a cased set of Silver Coronation hallmarked silver gilt stamp ingots and an antique concert roller organ, set in a glazed and wood cabinet.
A British Military Cross medal stamped Lt. F.N.S. Lampard and dated 1918 (with accompanying citation), a set of full size WWI campaign medals and accompanying miniature set; a polished wood cased Royal Mint 2021 United Kingdom Premium Proof Coin set and a few limited edition prints by Simon Drew.

Furniture incorporates the usual mix including a Victorian inlaid walnut and strung pier cabinet; an antique oak Glastonbury elbow chair; a late 19th Century Aesthetic Movement light oak two part open bookcase; an early 20th Century mahogany J.S. Fry & Sons Ltd. cabinet; a 19th Century carved oak and mixed wood bow elbow chair with studded green leather upholstery; a Victorian stained pine farmhouse table with thick plank top; an antique Flemish oak draw-leaf extending dining table; a modern pine farmhouse style kitchen table with solid sectional top; and a antique Flemish oak chest of three long drawers, to name just a few items.
Viewing is on Tuesday, February 17 (from 10am to 7pm and Wednesday February 18 from 10am to 5pm. The auctions start at 10am daily.
