NA Buzzards stepped up their challenge for the Division Two title with a fine 9-1 win over Marldon, writes Tony Halse.

Ed Crawford and Mike Dummett were unbeaten for the Buzzards as they closed to within two points of the top two sides and with games in hand. Nigel Goodman’s victory over Charlie Usher secured Marldon’s point.

Meanwhile, 10-0 wins for the top two teams in Division One keeps the pressure on title favourites Denbury Imports, who have games in hand over their rivals.

Leaders NA Batmen’s team of Nick Halse, and Dennis and Shaun Gibbs beat Brixham Gulls, while the second-placed Brixham Sharks’ team of Adam Shipway, Jaz Johns and Gordon Holmes defeated bottom side Battlers.
