Newton Abbot Squash Club enjoyed plenty of success at the Devon Junior Championships, with winners in three categories, runners-up in four and a third.

Newton swept the board at U11, won by Ioan Sharpe with Eddie Whalley taking the runners-up spot – Ioan also finished a creditable third in the U15 section.

It was a similar story in the U13s, with Billy Whalley beating Toby Roberts in the final.

Darcy Boyle claimed the U15 title then stepped up an age group to finish as runner-up in the U17s, while Harry Senior completed a successful day by coming second in the U19 age group.

There was also a special mention for Cerys Williams who was placed highly in her first championships.
