South Devon completed a league double over Lewdown when they beat them by 125 runs second time around on the Recreation Ground, writes Conrad Sutcliffe.

Jack Allen top scored for South Devon with 68 not out off 50 balls in a total of 207 for five from 35 overs. Mali Marshall made 55.

Lewdown’s reply stumbled to 15 for three due to early pressure from Marshall (3-19), but recovered while Ben Lanyon (12) and Williams (29no) put on 43 for the fourth wicket.

Once Lanyon was spun out by Louis Hargreaves (3-8), Lewdown went into a terminal decline.

Four of the last five batters failed to score a run between them as Hargreaves and latterly Lahiru Samaradivakara (3-15) shot-out Lewdown for 82.
