BUCKLAND Athletic are through to the Preliminary Round of the FA Cup thanks to a convincing victory over Pewsey Vale on Saturday.

Second half goals from Dan Harrison, Lewis Tasker and Nick Rudge were enough to see off the visitors from Wiltshire, who found themselves up against it for most of the game.

After the final whistle and his first victory as player-manager, Duff said that he was pleased with the team’s progress.

‘I thought we played some lovely football at times,’ he said.
