A YOUNG footballer was taken to hospital after suffering a knee injury in a game at Buckland Athletic’s ground in Newton Abbot yesterday (sun).

The casualty, from the visiting side, was taken to Torbay Hospital by ambulance for treatment to a suspected dislocation of the knee.

The injury was received in an under 18s game just after 4pm.
