THREE Teignbridge Trotters were representing the club in their royal blue and Christmas hats at the Extremely Jolly Race at Escot in East Devon.
The race is run over a wet, muddy and undulating 10km trail course, which includes a water slide. Ben Tampkins finished second man in a terrific 51 minutes 39 seconds. Derek Skinner clocked one hour, four minutes and five seconds with Neil Tampkins finishing in one hour, seven minutes and 15 seconds.
Meanwhile, Shaz & Paul Sharples took part in the Running Events stag challenge race.
Starting on the Granite Way, Okehampton following the former railway line in super weather with great scenery. They warmed up with Simmons Park Run before for two laps in fancy-dress of the 3.3-mile course in 74 minutes, ignoring the potential up to 7 hours running.
The highly regarded Trotters Couch to 5k course starts January in Newton Abbot with places available on the club website.
