Regular readers will think they’re experiencing an acute case of déjà vu as, for the third time in 18 months, Teignmouth succumbed to a last-minute, one-point defeat against their bogey side Matson.

Those supporters who regularly travel all over the South West following the Teigns could almost have written the script for this match before the kick off – an early Teignmouth lead, a Matson fightback, the visitors apparently winning the points with minutes to go and, finally, the Gloucester side contriving to steal the match at the bitter end.
