Who better to call on than the mighty Exeter Chiefs when it’s rugby on the school timetable?

Pupils in Da Vinci class at St Catherine’s C of E Primary, Heathfield, have this term been lucky enough to enjoy weekly professional coaching sessions from none other than the team’s community coach Aron Struminski.

‘Aron has been teaching the children tag rugby and they’ve really enjoyed themselves,’ said teacher Ellie Nichols.

‘In addition they have also been learning about the values that are associated with sport, particularly rugby, aspects such as enjoyment, discipline, respect, sportsmanship and teamwork.’
