ENGLAND Rugby have announced their squad for the men’s U20 squad that will soon be travelling to South Africa.
There is local interest in the 30-man squad that will be competing in the World Rugby Championship with Teignmouth’s own Benjamin Coen set to feature.
The fly-half made his England debut just a few months ago, coming on in the number 10 position in a narrow defeat to France at U19 level.
He is a part of the Exeter Chiefs set-up as well as representing Exeter University 1st XV.
England are in Pool C alongside hosts South Africa, Argentina and Fiji. The top team in all three of the pools will automatically advance to the semi-finals and then the best of the rest will join them.
With three wins, the latest coming in 2016, England are joint-second in the history of this tournament behind who else but New Zealand.
Good luck to Ben and his teammates!
