Members of Cockington Riding Club, based at Ideford, turned out in force for the annual presentation evening, which was held at the Royal British Legion Club, Kingsteignton.

Six-year-old Emma King, of Chudleigh was one of the stars of the night, collecting a total of seven awards among them, best turned out lead rein and best all-rounder.

Other big winners among the younger members included Charlotte Shearer, from Kingsteignton, who bagged ten trophies, and Annabell Rusden, who scooped eight awards. Annabell's brothers, Ben and Sam, also took their fair share of the prizes.

For the seniors, Andrea Riggs, from Kingsteignton took seven of the trophies up for grabs, while the Chairman's Encouragement Award went to Sophie Rainbow, from Hestow.

During the evening, the club made two cheque presentations – the money raised at shows during the season – to Devon Air Ambulance (£250) and Riding for the Disabled (£125).
