A WOMAN was cut from her crashed van after a three-vehicle collision on the A30 skirting Dartmoor this morning. (Tuesday)

All three emergency services were still at the scene at Sourton at 1pm this afternoon.

Specialist cutting gear was used to take the roof off the van so the casualty could be safely removed and given medical treatment.

The accident happened about 12 miles west of Whiddon Down just after 11am.

Two pumps attended from Exeter with one each from Okehampton and Hatherleigh.

A fire spokesman said one of the vehicles involved in the collision had left the carriageway.
