A MOTORCYCLIST was injured in a road accident in Newton Abbot yesterday evening.

The 30-year-old casualty suffered a leg injury in the collision with a car on Exeter Road.

The bump happened just after 6pm.

The rider, from Winkleigh, was taken by ambulance to Torbay Hospital for treatment.
