Two fire appliances from Newton Abbot attended a blaze at a property in Ipplepen during the early hours of this morning (Saturday , April 17).
On arrival at the scene in Totnes Road just before 3am crews found the outbuilding to the rear of the domestic property was alight and got to work using one hose reel jet and small tools to extinguish the fire.
The outbuilding used as a commercial business measuring 10m by 14m was 100 per cent damaged by fire and the surrounding decked area was severely damaged by fire.
A thermal imaging camera and gas monitor was also used. Western Power Distribution were also in attendance for a pole that was damaged by the fire.
