A man has admitted taking part in an incident which led to armed police being sent to a Dartmoor village.

Wayne Robinson, aged 54, of Parkfield, Lustleigh, admitted affray when he appeared at Exeter Crown Court.

He denied attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm on Stuart James and two counts of making threats to kill Olivia Cunningham and Jamie Pratt on Sunday October 16 this year.

Mr Andrew Macfarlane, prosecuting, asked for the case to be adjourned to allow the Crown Prosecution Service time to consider whether the plea to affray was sufficient to cover all aspects of the incident.

All the charges arose from an incident in Parkfield in Lustleigh on October 16 which led to a police armed response unit being called to the picture postcard village.
