Police were called to the Royl Mail Deliveries Office in Brunswick Place, Dawlish today.
Just after midday officers arrived following reports of a man acting aggressively and making threats to Royal Mail staff.
The man left the scene and officers were subsequently carrying out enquiries to locate him.
