A JUDGE has ordered a psychiatric report on a man who used a blowtorch to set light to a house in Ogwell, near Newton Abbot.
Peter Mayo, aged 48, of Rowhorne Road, Nadderwater, near Exeter, admitted arson being reckless as to whether life was endangered.
Mayo was arrested after using a blow torch to start a fire which damaged a house in Berkshire Close, Ogwell, on August 16 this year.
Judge Francis Gilbert, QC, sitting at Exeter Crown Court, adjourned the case until January and ordered a psychiatric report.
