PARAMEDICS were alerted to an incident at Dawlish Leisure Centre this morning.
South West Ambulance Service confirmed they were called at 7.40am today to the Sandy Lane centre.
A spokesman said: ‘We were called at 07:40hrs on Wednesday 16 April to an incident in Dawlish.
‘We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, a critical care car and the hazardous area response team to the scene.
‘We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.’
