POLICE have promised to look into vandalism caused to Dawlish’s newest park equipment and to keep tabs on anti-social drivers.

Acting Chief Inspector Steve Philp and Teignmouth Coastal and Rural Neighbourhood Sergeant Rob Harvey spent some time on Thursday afternoon with councillor Linda Petherick on Dawlish Warren.

They posted this picture on Facebook and said: ‘We were delighted to spend time talking to the children in the community centre, safe to say there is some incredible artistic talent being developed in the art class!

‘As we walked along the Warren we discussed local issues important to the community with Mrs Petherick.

‘It was very disappointing to hear that damage had been caused to the brand new public park provided by the council. The local team will be looking into this as well into reports of antisocial drivers in the lower car park.’
