A DOG was rescued from a brook outside Moretonhampstead over the weekend.

Firefighters got their feet wet to recover the ailing pooch from Wray Brook just after 4.30pm on Saturday.

The wandering pet was pulled from the wet stuff after getting itself stuck between rocks under a bridge.

Small tools and a salvage sheet were used to execute the SOS operation just off Exeter Road.
