POLICE are studying video footage of two young men wanted in connection with an attempted cash grab from a public telephone box in Teignmouth.

The pair are seen acting suspiciously around a kiosk overnight on August 9 in Regent Street.

One of them is thought to be using a crowbar during the filmed incident.

Just 24 hours later a quantity of cash was snatched from a phone box in the resort.

One of the suspects in the failed bid was wearing a red top and dark tracksuit bottoms with three distinctive red stripes down the leg.

He was also wearing a pair of dark Nike trainers.

The person with him was wearing a grey hoody, dark trousers and white trainers.
