They gave first aid at the scene before handing her over to paramedics for further treatment.
The accident happened on the B3212 near Culver Sawmill just before 7.30am.
Highways workers were called to the location to treat icy road conditions.
The road was re-opened at 9.30am.
Police also attended the incident.
