MORE than £300 was raised at a summer fete her at Sefton Hall care home in Dawlish.

Residents and visitors made the most of the better weather to enjoy a barbecue and cream tea in the grounds.

Entertainment was provided by Pauline Wills and the Dawlish Ukes, rock and roll dancers and Jerry Wild.

A Sefton spokesman said: ‘A huge thank you to everyone who came to our fête, all the wonderful staff who go above and beyond for our lovely residents, and of course, our lovely residents.

‘Thank you all for a wonderful day.’

The £300 raised will go to cat rescue charity Hector’s House.

The afternoon was enjoyed by all who attended.

Heather Graham said: ‘Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

‘What a treat to sit in the beautiful gardens and chat with nice friendly people.’
