We would like to offer a sincere apology to Majestic Tours, Teignmouth, for errors in reports by this website. The coach company which had its licence suspended for a week after one of its drivers was jailed for fiddling records is Majestic Travel, of Wolverhampton, and not Majestic Tours, of Teignmouth.

As reported in a previous - now removed post – Bob Rowe, 54, from Wolverhampton, was jailed for six months at Exeter Crown Court after he admitted six offences of falsifying driving records.

After the case, a spokesman for the Traffic Commissioner said incorrectly that action had also been taken against K&E Horton (Garages) Ltd, trading as Majestic Tours.

In fact the company traded as Majestic Travel and is entirely separate from Majestic Tours, of Teignmouth. We are happy to make this clarification.
