The Right Honourable Ann Widdecombe gave an extremely entertaining talk to the Dawlish Probus group at the Manor House.
She recounted stories about her life both in and out of politics, from her forays into Strictly Come Dancing, through to her involvement with the Donkeys in the Holyland charity.
Her opinions were inciteful and amusing and she was certainly a most outgoing and friendly guest, happy to chat with everyone and answer all the questions put to her. Certainly an eye-opener for everyone present.
The Dawlish Probus group meets at The Manor House on Monday mornings and is encouraging anybody who is interested to just come along at 10am and meet everyone.
The speakers offer a a varied programme of subjects, ranging from insights into history, experts on medical matters, Devonshire issues and modern lives - always something of interest for everyone.
