POLICE are appealing to the public to help identify youths who damaged vehicles by throwing rocks from an over bridge in Exminster.

The first offence happened on Tuesday evening (April 14) and involved a group of approximately six youths, both male and female.

The second offence happened on Wednesday evening (April 15) and involved one male and one female.

A spokesperson for Devon & Cornwall Police said: ‘This type of incident is incredibly dangerous and it is only due to the driving abilities of those motorists involved, a traffic collision did not occur and we are not looking at serious injuries.

‘If you know anything about these incidents please contact the Police on 101 quoting crime occurrence number 50260094401.

‘We are also appealing to parents to speak to their wards so they are aware of the repercussions of such behaviour’.
